Question: Production of graphite. What technology Ltd. "Zavalivskiy graphite" uses?
Everyone knows where and how to use graphite, but not a lot of people know how the production of graphite is carried out. We will try to explain this process by the example of Ltd. "Zavalivskiy graphite" (the company that produces natural graphite from ores of Zavallie deposit).
The development process is conducted by open, that is, the quarry way (jetting and blasthole charges are used). Ores deposit are enriched by flotation (and chemically) with getting of concentrate, which contains 85-90% of high quality graphite and always has an ash content not exceeding 10-15%.
Further there is a production process of graphite, for which different methods are used: crushing, grinding, flotation, dewatering, drying, dispersion, chemical enrichment, air-inkjet milling.
Production of finished goods - is a complicated continuous process: from raw material crushing and to packaging.
